Human Ken Slams Human Barbie!
Trouble in paradise? A man who's made himself look like a human Ken doll spoke with GQ about how much he despises a woman who's made herself look like a human Barbie doll. "I don't really get her. I don't get why people think she's so interesting," sniffed Human Ken of his female counterpart. "She has extensions. She wears stage makeup. She's an illusionist." Ouch! Though to be fair, said Human Barbie is a horrible racist and utterly ridiculous "breatharian," so maybe he has a point.
Still, it's more than a little sad to realize our favorite faux couple may never be. We were so close you guys! At least we'll always have our childhood fantasies...
Excellent News! College Athlete Becomes First Openly Gay Division 1 Player
Ladies and gentleman, we bring you our (male) hero of the day: University of Massachusetts basketball player Derrick Gordon, who has become the first Division 1 athlete to come out as gay. Coming on the heels of an NFL prospect coming out, we wonder if this could mean (oh pretty please!) the uber-masculine sports culture is ready to accept homosexuality. (Insert lame joke about sports sinking a three-pointer for gay rights here.)
